Week 17 - More studies

So I have gotten some more studies done this week. Here is the break down of progression.

Study 1 - Photo study
Almost finished this study but I have done. Just the Hands and guns to go. I will be able to finish them off next week and then move onto the next drawing. So exciting!!

Study 2 - Colour/Light study
Okay so after an hour of refining the face I finally have a not so awful face. She is looking more and more like a normal human being. Skin has being hard even if a lot of the colour difference in the skin has being filtered out with lighting make-up and other things. Still its all the subtle differences that make it come to life. Hopefully next week is another successful progression and I look forward to working on the hair. This is going to be a new one for me.
 

Study 3 - Life Drawing
Finally I have managed to finish a sketch book. I am so happy and now am moving onto my next book. This week I did girls again. I am getting faster with the work I feel now I need to look into adding tone into the sketches.

Study 4 - Animal Study 

So froggy has got some more texture. Soon we shall have some more texture on him. I am hopping to get him finished off sometime next week. There is still however a lot still to work on him. I am really going to be sad when I have finished him because I have really enjoyed painting him. He has being a lot of fun to work on. I love animals way too much.  

Study 5 - Animation
This week I have being just fiddling around with the rig and building part of the set for the hour. So I don't really have anything currently to show the progression on this particular study but I will be working on it next week as well.

Week 16 - Animal Studies

So I am Back!! I had a busy couple of weeks but I had a birthday party at the zoo last week. It was a drawing/zoo party. So a bunch of my friends got together and just drew. It was a lot of fun. Here are the bunch of sketches from that day. I am very excited about the fact that I got as many as I did done and it was quite relaxing.

I also have a few random sketches that I have done. Just for a bit of fun I hope to refine and colour a couple of these.

Week 14 - Studies

So this week has being a crazy busy week and soon its only going to get busier. So my work updates might not be a full for a little while.

I have being working on my studies again this week. It by far is my favourite time of the week and the most relaxing day. So here is the update.

Study 1 - Photo study
Finally I have finished drawing 10 and am working on drawing 11. I have being finding that I am feeling a little more drained with these now. I get pretty eager to work on something with more colour but as insistent as ever I make sure I do the studies. Drawing 11 has quite a different angle from the other ones so that already presents a challenge for me but still it has a lot of flowy hair so that is always fun to draw.

Study 2 - Colour/Light study
So another hour into the colour study and she is looking really weird at the moment. I am hoping that she will progress in time since I am still blocking in colour. For now she looks like a funny clown.

Study 3 - Life drawing
Another week of life drawing yay and another bunch of drawings for them. Here are all of them for the week. I did both a female and a male this week.

Study 4 - Animal study
This is by far my favourite study. It just goes to say what I love more. People or animals and it just so happens to be the animals. Still not finished but here is an update from last week where I have started to add the layers of light and shadow in and fixed some of the form on the frog.

Study 5 - Animation
So I finished up the story board this week and also recorded all the footage for the reference. I am not going to upload it just yet I want to edit it together and take some of the key frames and lay it all out for my animation reference. I might grace you later with my embarrassment later. Here are the last two pages.
