Week 46 - An adventure into some new species

Hello people and welcome back to another week. I have had an exceptionally busy week trying to produce more work for all you to see. Good news I am finally able to reveal to you my new topic. I am super exited about the new things I have discovered. Before I do that however I want to show you the last two pages I have done in my old sketch book. It feels sad to say good bye.

So here are some Anteaters because they are peculiar but awesome animals.

Now that I have officially gone through all of my old sketchbook I can let you in on my new topic. I have being pushing the bounds of my creativity lately. Trying to think of the obscure and outside of the box. So this is a major test in that. Also a little bit of creative fun. Just to make me laugh. Well the topic is still animals except I decided to mix them up a little and create some spliced animals. So here is the product of that.

It has being a lot of fun drawing these guys. I hope to fill my new sketch book full of these. It is also a great way for me to vent some creative juices in between full illustrations.

I also have a lot of plans for the next coming year for my work. So I am currently working my butt off to to push myself to get more work out. So keep tuned for some exciting updates.

Week 45 - Studies

Hay all. I am back after another week. Phew its being a busy week but I have some new sketches this week to show you and I will be showing you the new theme for my sketches next week. I have a lot to get through this week since I need to move to a different project sometime soon. So at the moment I am going to show you the sketches and I hope to update you with something new next week. So here they are.

Week 44 - studies and new content.

Hello all I am a little late on my update this week. I have being super busy trying to get some new content up this past week. So I am going to let you in on what I have being doing. First of all I show you some of my warm downs at the end of the day.

I am getting pretty close to finishing the sketch book I use to draw these guys. I am quite happy in my development of my drawing skills. I always amaze myself to how much better I have gotten even when I thought I have reached my absolute limit. Soon as I finished showing the rest of this sketch book I will be able to show you some of new topic I am working on in the new (old) sketch book I have being working in currently. The topic is a little bit of secret for the moment but it is a little bit of mixing up a previous topic.

For the next thing I reveal it is I decided to vent some frustration and push my creativity I would start working on a comic for a bit of fun. I am quite happy with the style of my main character and the overall style of the comic but I am also aware that I got a little carried away (as per usual).   The next comic I am working on simplifying my ideas. I know I think very technically but I aim to keep the style just simplify the story and how it unfolds. To show off what I have achieved and so you can see how I started let me post the first comic of The Slightly Dramatic Mind of Ally!!

Everything is about a learning experience and to push forward to bigger and better things. I aim to keep up my work and produce my next comic with even better ideas and better stories.  So as I continue to weave my tale don't forget to show me your admiration through any of these methods:

Week 43 - more studies.

I am here today to post up some of my new sketches. I will also be posting next week hopefully my new bit of work I have being working on. I have a lot to get through this week with a few bits of work having to work on but I should have it completed by the end of the week. I cross my fingers.

Appreciation time

Hello everybody!!!

Today feels like the start of a fantastic day. I am obviously having one of the mornings where I woke up with more energy then I can possibly handle. I am super excited to what this week holds. I am really hoping to be able to show you a thing I have being working on next week. Before I can show you that I need to make it through this week.

 I would like to say first of all that I am very happy and grateful to all the people that have given me love and appreciation for my work. Me as a weird individual I cannot express to the people how much it excites me and makes me happy having people appreciate my work. Commenting, sharing, purchasing and liking my work to me really shows how much my work is appreciated.

I have worked so hard this past year to work on the things that I needed to improve on and have spent many hours trying to better myself as not only and artist but as a person. That meant opening myself up to things and learning to be more happy within myself. To be honest I have never felt happier and I have learned to push myself outside of my safety box. Yes I have got many new obstacles to face now but I am now going into those with a sense of excitement rather then dread.

People also wonder why I can quite happily spend 7 plus hours working every day drawing and how I can be self motivated. It's not just my crazy work ethic it's also because every time someone shows gratitude to my work I know that I have shared what I have worked so hard to achieve. Art is a big part of expression of yourself. For me it's also displaying an inner child that I have found it so hard to express to the outside world. If something makes people smile I have honestly felt like I have done my job.

So I just wanted to take this moment to say how absolutely grateful I am to each an every person for taking the time to appreciate my hard work. I hope to keep improving and keep creating to keep the smiles on you faces and remind people of the simple beauty in the world or just to share my weird reality. Whichever comes first.
