The past few days I have managed to work a little on the house structure, to get more of a sense of the land so to speak. That way I can really figure out what I wanted to put in it and how I wanted it to feel. So I expanded a bit of the idea of having lots of glass.
There is going to be a centre point of the house which is going to be an incredible garden with a tree as the centre piece. I want there to be exposed beams in the room too. I love the more natural feel of a home and wood has so much character with both its appearance and smell.
I have also being looking more technically about the structure of how things form so I can develop my 3D modelling skills and start thinking more technical. This is also something that I want to focus on with this project. I know more detail there is never enough!! Here is a computer monitor that I built over the last few days. I have being a little slow with 3D modelling due to the fact that I haven't done it in a long time, but I also had to figure out how each of the components are built.
So here is my computer monitor, complete with little segments of progression and all the ports.
Its being fun figuring out the bits an pieces of the computer monitor to try to model it as accurately as possible by sight. Since measuring all the little tiny pieces and pulling apart my monitor weren't really an option to me I had to suffice with using my hands to feel, looking really intently and taking lots of pictures but it certainly was a whole bunch of fun. Now all I need to do is create the plugs.
The more work I accomplish the more I still need to do!!
