Week 26 - Studies

Hi all another week gone and another week of studies achieved. So it's time to update once again. I hope all of you had a fantastic week and I am ready to show you some of the new studies I am currently working on. Yes I have added a couple more.

Study 1 - Photo study
I have decided to step back a little bit from these ones just because there are other things that I decided that I would focus on instead. So I probably won't be producing at least one per week as I have being. This week I don't actually have a completed one for you. So for now the WIP

Study 2 - Colour/Light Study 

So I am slowly getting through this one. Now onto the second hard part the lace on the shirt. Eventually I will make it through this one. I have to say that I have being enjoying this one a lot more now than I was. I have completely got into it. I can't wait to apply some of the things I have learned to my future pieces. 

Study 3 - Life Drawing
I have gotten through another sketch book. :) Oh happy days.

Study 4 - Animal Study
Progressing pretty quickly through this one now. With each one of these I work through I learn more and more and push my abilities. I will be happy to see the final result of this one. :)

This girls that I was referencing from were amazing. I cannot believe the routine they did and the way they were able to contort their bodies. I thoroughly enjoyed drawing from the first minute but it is going to be exciting drawing from the next 12. 

Study 10 - Secret sshh 

Study 11 -  HONY (Humans of New York) Sketches

HONY is facebook page and website that is the work of a photographer. He essentially goes around and talks to people around New York and now to other countries to talk to them. It give people who otherwise never had a voice something to say to the people. He is a fantastic photographer that gets a great deal of presence of his subjects and often find very interesting an quirky people to talk to. I decided just for fun to dedicate a section to draw these people since there is always a pretty great sense of character, expression and style. Here was the first weeks worth. Again assigned myself an hour of work. I am even considering illustrating full some of them. 

Study 12 - Daily Spitpaint 

Essentially with this one there is a facebook group where they set a topics for you. You chose on and then you have 30 mins to achieve something related to that topic. To be honest I found this tough. I like to plan out everything so doing something like this is a bit out of my comfort. Good thing the more you face that the higher you are likely to achieve. So here are my first terrible attempts.
