The Adventures Through Animation Land: Week 29

So there is a few updates on my blog as my dedicated followers might notice including a new title. I though after all these years it might be time for some change. So if you are a dedicated follower of mine welcome back. If not well a whole hearty welcome to my page.

So back on the major task at hand. This weeks adventure for me is through the land of studies. Ah yes the weekly occurrence for me. It has in fact being a pretty and important experience for me but also a exceptional way to unwind and get all the blah out of my week. The more terrible drawings you do the closer you get to a better drawing.

So here is the event that you have all being waiting for (or not). The next instalment of STUDIES an journey of somewhat viable drawings and a lot squiggly lines.

Study 1 - Photo Study

Oh look another week and another bunch of squiggly lines accomplished on this reference. Good news for you all however that soon very soon I promise you I will be finished with this one. Bad news it is probably going to take 16 years for me to finish 104 of these. #goals am I correct?

Study 2 - Light and colour study

As each week goes by a little more gets accomplished sometimes you might need a magnify glass to be able to see it but still its progression and every tiny bit counts.

Study 3 - Life Drawing

So I am getting better a drawing women and I am getting happier with the results every week. Men are a different matter at the moment they are starting to form a man/woman hybrid. So I am going to try and produce one man and one woman every week now. I just have to dig a little harder for the male resource.

Study 4 - Animal Study

Head - Check. Left arm - Check. Right arm - Check. Chest - somewhat check. Soon this big guy will reach it final form completed!!

Study 5 - Shhhhh no study here.

Study 6 - Anatomy

I have some news next week I shall be moving onto a different part of the body. That is right I shall be leaving trusty feet behind and moving on. You are going to stay tuned to next week to find out what I am going to be tackling next but it's all exciting.

Study 7 - Facial Expressions

Study 8 - Humans in Action

More humans in action. I know I was going to stop at 50 but I had to keep going until I have finished all the reference images I had. Now for step 2 chose my 25 favourites and start again.

Study 9 - Motion Study

Spending way too much time and having way too much fun doing these from the reference video I was using. Some of these gymnast are way too flexible but they do in fact make for interesting reference.

Study 10 - Shhh still nothing here. :P

Study 11 - The people of HONY

So these are also rather fun I quite like drawing these they also push my boundaries on drawing because I am faced with different clothing and layers, shapes and props. I want to push to do more of these for next week.

Study 12 - 30min spitpaint

So as I said I said at the beginning of last week this study here has undergone some changes. Since I want to develop my environment skills and I have seeing them floating around the place. I am doing 30 mins environment studies. I have a selection of images from movies that I need to try to replicate in 30 mins. These are chosen at random, forcing me to have to work on my feet and then I have to try to produce them.

Well the first one wasn't fantastic since the first one had to come out a tough on also I am not fantastically fast at doing digital painting yet. Lucky I like a challenge however and I am to do more of these to try to push my environment skills up.
